An Impressive Driver Array in a Luxurious Package
With gold design accents and a molded, see-through enclosure, the KZ ZAS IEM offers listeners a finer aesthetic to go along with its well-rounded sound. Inside each earphone, there’s a lot going on. First, a 10-millimeter dynamic driver supports the low end of the frequency spectrum with immersive fullness. Covering the rest of the range are seven balanced armature units (a combination of 30019s and 50024s) for sparkle and clarity. The molded enclosure has been designed to rein in the amplitude—particularly from the dynamic driver—so all that bass and fullness doesn't result in a loose or muddy undertone. Each pair of ZAS IEMs comes with a twisted, 200-core, silver-plated cable that’s removable via 2-pin connectors for convenience and repairability.
