Feels very nice, not stiff, and it's thin! I thought I wouldn't like the colour but it grew on me and looks awesome now. Great cable for on the go, it never got in my way.
The build quality on these cables is very good. They are covered with a copper colored, untreated cloth so I'd worry about outdoor use or dirt/grease. They definitely have some weight & girth to them. I feel that they do require some burn-in. Sonically, they're good but outside of looks, I'm not sure whether they offer more than Linsoul's less expensive cables.
Great material and build but it made my TIN T2 way too bright. I can’t listen to the IEM as long compared to the stock cables.
if anyone is also experiencing this, let me know.
At first glance, I thought these were copper wires (and they might be), but it’s really just a fabric wrap painted to look like copper. That was a disappointment because they look cheap and there’s some undesirable micro-phonics when it runs against your clothing. However, when sitting still they sound just fine.
My parcel was lost when being delivered (no idea how that happened), so I never got the chance to test the cable out sadly.
Contacted tech support and I got an apt and prompt response, and after a week, I got a full refund! Needless to say I am really satisfied with Drop's tech support if not with the cable.
Ordered on 4 Oct, Shipped on 24 Oct and arrived on 28 Oct. This arrived earlier than I expected. Good!
This improved the mid and treble and didn't boost the bass too much. So the overall sound became clearer.
This has copper colored layer, which is both plus and minus. The layer looks beautiful and protects the core from damage and the cable is seldom entangled. But it makes the cable a little bit heavy. This dangles and pulls down my iem with every step. A cable clip is needed. Overall, the plus outweigh the minus and this is great for portable use. It's worth it.
