Product Description
If there were such thing as EDC jewelry, the Lumintop Prince Mini would certainly qualify. As easy to use as it is to look at, it features a body made from stainless steel and carbon fiber with golden accents in a diagonal staircase pattern Read More
These really are great lights for the price. I just wish they came with a 14500 battery. Or at least offered them as an add-on. Because without, they are limited to 120 lumens on a fresh AA alkaline (or even the Energizer AA Lithiums). To hit that brief 500 lm's, must have a high dump rechargeable, running higher volts.
Now the wait for the all copper and all brass versions. 😬
ZiglafThe clip from the Reylight Brass (14500) can be made to fit with the use of an Emory board to make it fit over the threads. The stock clip on mine is pretty strong-try contacting Lumintop about a replacement(even though you purchased from Massdrop, Lumintop has always provided good customer service to me)...
I passed on the MD exclusive.
I don't need a light.
But I want one.
Is this the cool one for cheap?
Serious question.
And yes I like it and the description.
Just wondering if there's something else I should look for.
BrainFlushLooks to be a nice little light! I passed on the regular Lumintop Prince lights because I'm not a fan of 123A/18650 batteries, so this looks like a nice, smaller version of the same. Nice price as well, considering what the Prince was going for. About the highest output you'll find of a single AA battery light, and the reverse clicky switch types are always easy to switch modes with, especially with the giant button they have on this.
My only qualms would be the lack of a keyring hole (as far as I can see), but that is a personal preference. Not entirely necessary depending on where you intend to use it. Shiny surfaces are fingerprint magnets, but it does look nice!
Alternatively, the ReyLight Pineapple Brass drop also appears to have started again.

Similar form factor with different specs. Hefty solid brass with a matte finish, Nichia 219C if you happen to like the higher CRI at the cost of output. Can take 14500 rechargeables. Although looks like quantites are a lot more limited, so it may be gone by the time you read this.
I have to purchase another Prince, maybe 2. My daughter loved this torch sooooo much she strongarmed mine 😂😂😂😂 I know my wife will love this one also!!!!!
The larger Lumintop Prince is my go to light. I have them in copper and brass. However with the 18650 battery they are bit heavy and large to carry around daily. I had a prince mini but the QC seemed to be lacking as the clicky switch failed after six months of light use.
This is my most favoritest flashlight. I use normal amazon rechargeable double a's and it compares to pretty much any other "1000 lumen" flashlight on amazon. The case is solid. I would not use the clip for everyday carry probably but then again why would anyone need to carry a flashlight around everyday when you have one on your phone? Most people buying this probably aren't Carl Winslow'ing it up and using this for police duty or anything. This is more of a throw it in your pocket if you are going hiking sort of thing or would even be good to keep in the car. Carl Winslow probably would appreciate that it takes normal rechargeable double a's though. No fancy complicated annoying batteries for science reasons here. Go home Steve. Plain olde batteries here.

35w update: I change my mind on the clip. It is teh coolest. I use it like a pocket knife now and clip it right onto the inside of whatever pocket and it has lost no structural integrity. But most importantly it doesnt stick out 2 inches from the top of the clip out of the pocket. The clip is framed at the very top of the light by the button so it sits flush on the pocket. Classy. Fully waterproof, I testeds. Still favorite flashlight and keep it right by the front door.
2year update: EDC flashlight. Everyday. Rechargeable double a's. Still as awesome as day 1.
Got in on this drop a while ago.
Quality control for this company is garbage... My flashlight has an ill fitting power button that often gets tilted into the cap at odd angles and gets stuck.
Lumintop‘s response to my concerns was 🙈.
I would avoid this drop if you have qualms with spending $70 on a light that has poor tolerances and construction.
This is the first time I'm actually ordering a drop. Do they always take this long? It has been forever and they've just said ordered from vender forever. Does the company not have enough made? I find that hard to believe. Anyone know when we're getting these?
wberlin1Hey !
no, it's "regular" for a drop to take this long ... but normally we have some many update to let us know the "progression".
Don't worry, i think we 'll have some news pretty soon ;)
