I got the BE Live 2. They were fine for the amount I paid. They are still in the cupboard and still work. I used the for my commute on public transport and they did the job.
In the age of wireless buds they were actually great as you could pull them out quickly and they would magnetically stick together and hang around the neck.
Sound is not outstanding nor is the battery life but it is definitely passable on both counts.
With a modern lens there are issues and I would no longer recommend but at the time they were fine.
I have recived the NuForce BE Live2 and used it for about a year. I stop using it because i think after a couple months the left side fell apart and i had to use superglue to get it back together. But since it had a angle tip i couldnt get it back to the orginal spot. Sound quality was decent and the bluetooth connection was good until the very end when it started to disconnect out of now where.
Got lucky on the box this one time, but I’ll qualify that by saying I’ve gotten duds on every other attempt. Didn’t win any prizes, but did pick up a pair of BE live5.
On the buds themselves, they sound OK, I mean they are still a Bluetooth Pair. However, they connect every time without fail, and never drop the connection. I wore them everyday for a year, running, walking, cycling and generally throwing them about. They didn’t even look like breaking. Compare this to the Dre BeatsX that I had to replace via warranty 7 times! Yes, you read that right. I had seven pairs of beatsX under warranty in 12 months, not a single pair lasted more than 2 months before breaking. In that context, these are awesome.
build felt good, sound was very mediocre and the bluetooth connectivity was god awful. I returned them as they were unusable without constantly cutting out.
These earbuds sound pretty good for being bluetooth at this price point, and they build quality is great for the price too! The magnetic ends were pretty convenient, but that's where my positive comments come to an end.
First off, not sure how these qualify as "IEMs" but okay NuForce lol. Second, they just don't fit in my ears well at all. They fall out of my ears even if I tilt my head slightly too far, not an issue I've had with any other earbuds/IEMS. Working out with them was a nightmare for that reason. I bought Jaybird sport earhooks to make them to stay in my ears, which worked, but made them even more uncomfortable. Third, the bluetooth connector bit of the wire makes it sit unevenly on your neck because the weight of the cable isn't evenly distributed, but that's not the end of the world. I'd put up with that if the other shit worked.
I kinda thought these would be an audiophile-approved pair of bluetooth IEMs that would be great for the gym and other every day convenience use, but nah. Their spot in my daily driver rotation has been replaced by dual-wielding AirPods and Macaw GT600s.
