Revised based on community feedback, this version of the Massdrop Cruz Leather Weekender maintains all the same great features of the original—but it’s now slimmer, refined, and more functional. To start, each of the shoe compartments has been shortened by an inch to reduce the overall width of the bag Read More
Everything about this thing is quality. The leather is super thick. The hardware is heavy duty. Everything is super sturdy.
It looks super fancy.
It's quite heavy bc of the thickness and quality of the leather.
Would definitely buy again.
Well made bag and they didn't skim on the leather. Expect the bag to eat into the carry-on weight limit. Expect sore shoulders if carry it around at its full weight for more than 20 minutes at a time.
I will never use this as my only luggage bag again.
Sturdy and well built. Had a lot of dust from the leather cutting inside when I got it. Also, very heavy. I will probably not use this when traveling by air due to weight, but works great for my semi regular roadtrips up and down SoCal and NorCal.
The shoulder strap should probably be a little wider considering the size of the bag.
Robust high quality bag, very pretty, but far too heavy, perfect for weekend road trips.
Before the lockdown, I was travelling quite often for work, that was the main reason for buying this bag, and too be honest it was a mistake, the first time I took it on a flight it was so heavy the strap was way too uncomfortable. the amount of time I spent walking around and standing in the airport made my shoulder feel quite sore.
Since then I only really use this bag for weekends away where I'm taking the car, as it is not suitable for flying.
The construction of the bag is really well built, the leather is exquisitely beautiful, the zips are really good quality.
the vanity compartment and shoe compartments are really well thought out and work really well. the lining is of a very high quality.
In conclusion this bag is not suitable as hand luggage, for travel by bus, train or air. And if you don't own another piece of small luggage, buy a small hard case suitcase with wheels or a cabin zero type back pack. and one of those two will be good for all occasions.
That said for short trips by car, like weekends away, weddings or business trips it is perfect.
This bag is amazing especially since it's only $200. The quality of the leather is top notch. This bag could easily be anywhere from $600 - $900 if it had a designer label on it. This is my go to bag for any weekend trips.
I think its great bag, lot of value vs price. Im taking it as my bag to the office while having also shoes and dress for gym inside. It is very elegant to take those things. If you are weak it can be heavy for you.
You'll be hard press to find another bag of comparable quality for the same price
Unboxed. First impression, nice thick leather (3mm?) with beefy zippers. Second, wish lining was canvas. Third, took bag out of the box, darn thing is heavy, comes with the territory of thick leather. Put the bag back into box for return. Bag would be great for road trips not so much for air travel due to weight.
JNL111Fair enough. Was just curious, I've known people to do this habitually to feel like they can afford things that they can't, then return them just barely within the guidelines of getting a refund. Odd behavior to say the least, and costs businesses large and small a fortune in the long run I'm sure.
This bag (Rev 2) is very well made for the price. The leather is thick and high quality, the stitching looks very sturdy, and the layout of the bag is very well thought out. I haven't traveled with it yet, but I'm confident I'll be able to use it as a carry on on just about every major US airline. If you're looking for a weekender travel bag, you really can't go wrong with this one. I expect it to last a very long time.
