Really sharp and the right length for carving. Haven’t tried it on a roast as yet but on bagels it worked fine vs my bread knife. Just a very good knife so far.
But why was it made of such thick metal? I don't get it. A kitchen knife or a Rotary saw blade should be as thin as possible. If its thicker than it needs to be, it is downgraded 2 stars. and this knife is WAY thicker than it needs to be. Why?
Got to break it in tonight and I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase. The weight is similar to my daily beater and it came sharp enough right out of the box.
