I wanted to add the picture of my quilt to the discussion.
I know the bottom has collected much of the down (i was pinned hanging for about 30min). But the center baffles seem extra light. The deficiency really comes through in loft and structure. The outer baffles feel strong and ridged. Where as the center baffles are much easier to depress - and don't loft nearly as much or fast.

jiggliemonDown sometimes migrates and you need to redistribute it. I have an EE Revelation quilt and everytime I unpack it I have to flap it a couple time to loft the down then hen it is lofted fully I redistribute the down before I crawl in and go to sleep. I've used mine down to below it's temperature rating by about 10 degrees and was still quite warm.

Theres more than enough down inside the outer baffles to redistribute. But whe I redistribute the center baffles they’re left incredibly thin. @1” or so.
Isn’t it reasonable to expect the loft of the quilt to be uniform?

jiggliemonHmm, yes. But what is the rating of your quilt? Does it keep you warm, or do you feel cold spots after redistributing the down? I would contact Massdrop/EE if you are having trouble with your quilt after testing and researching what the loft height should be for your bag.

jiggliemonYep, the quilts here are not at all equivalent to a standard EE 20deg revelation (as advertised). The top pic is this quilt, the bottom is a stock 20degree revelation from EE directly. Taken in front of the same window back to back. The pictures don't to it justice - 30% less fill in the "made for massdrop" version?
