Bring them back! After 4 years of using them, I've fallen in love with these. I love its neutral signature. It saved me from the loudness wars. Now I can't feel happy if my music I listen is squashed because of the bad use of the limiter for the mastering. I now choose my music carefully thanks to these haha. Please Massdrop, I beg you! I'd also pay more for an improved version hahaha :')
If anyone is looking for replacement cables, I can confirm that 0.78mm pin cables on aliexpress work fine. The ones I got were "6N 0.78mm 2 Pin for Weston TFZ" for around $11. The cable is a bit shorter than the default ones, and the metal pins stick out by like 1mm, but it's overall a good fit.
divinebaboonMy old aliexpress ones broke after i yanked them too hard, got another pair of replacement cables from ali for $5, search "TRN 0.78mm cable", fits great, no metal pins sticking out this time.
After almost 2 years of not frequent use, the mid range armature (I think) is gone. The vocal of a song has fated into the back if you know what I mean.
I do like the sound of this IEM, should I buy another one or try something else?
UFO12345Tin T2's, Blon 03's, Moondrop Starfields, Thieaudio Legacy 3's are the rave of bang for buck. personally I only have L3's and Starfields but even with IEM's/headphones double the price I still find myself using my Starfields every now and then, would use the L3's but they are so pretty I don't want to wear the paint out lol (paid a bit more for the mystique L3)
I really really liked the sound and comfort of those EDC3, sadly the left earpiece started crackling about 3 months after the purchase (bought in january, issues started today).
I'm really sad, hope Drop will handle my warranty request soon.
