Yaks are pretty incredible creatures. To survive high in the mountains, where temperatures dip to 40 below, they’ve developed long, coarse hair and a soft down undercoat for extra insulation Read More
Hi Everyone! We took your feedback and have broken out the beanies and neckwarmers to be available on their own through their own drop. The yarns are the same as used on the sweaters, 50% yak wool and 50% merino. The fit and styling of these beanies and neckwarmers are based on existing styles from Peak to Plateau that the owner Stefan has been perfecting for years. When compared to merino alone, these beanies and neckwarmers are warmer, more breathable and just as durable and good at odor resistance and wicking. They are offered in One Size and in colors Dark Grey and Red, that match the red and dark grey of the sweaters. Thanks!

Very sorry for the delay! We were drafting our response and wanted to make sure that went out before I replied to you. We are facing a delay on the Wool Hoodie now until the end of January. This of course gives you the opportunity to cancel if you would like.
kim.suarezHonestly, the passive aggressive "you can cancel now" shit is fucking stupid. You have delayed this product twice after already charging me. My concern is not unfounded. You refused to reply for weeks and then hit me with "Oh we were trying to do this right" BS. Is it a coincidence that several customers contacted the company directly hours before your response? Just let us know what the fuck is going in these drops and people wont get pissed
Oh the nerve! Can you believe those no good, dirty rat-bastards at Patagonia had the balls to ripoff Peak To Plateau's logo like this! And to make matters worse, Sea To Summit tried to horn in on Peak To Plateau's clever, and oh so original, naming concept--how transparent!
Where's a good lawyer when you one?
rantngIt does read a little brown and that’s just due to the fiber of the yak. Similar to merino, yak fibers take color a little differently than a cotton or synthetic.
The omission of black and/or grey is probably the dealbreaker for me. Neither brown nor red match with my dark grey winter outerwear attire. They seem like popular enough shades to include, though I'm assuming they don't sell as well for whatever reason.
Just got my neck warmer, and I'm not sure I would say one size fits all. I'm a 200lb guy with a moderately thick neck (not thin, but not massive) and this is fairly tight around my neck. I am hoping I can loosen it up because it's a bit constricting. I'm not a claustrophobic person but having this much tightness around my neck is a little claustrophobia-inducing. I will give it a shot though. Pulled up over the nose, a lot of the bunching around the neck goes away and it's a little more comfortable, but I don't intend to wear it over the nose most of the time. I can almost see why the example photo of the neckwarmer is on a woman, because it feels a little bit like it was made for small necks. Still, when pulled up over the mouth, it can easily go over the ears. It is also pretty soft, not scratchy at all. If I can get some tightness out, I think I will be happy with this. Would love to try the beanie....
Edit: Turns out the little pops I heard when putting it on were indeed some seams ripping, and there are already loose spots where it tore. I got some fluff off of it already. Awesome product! Doesn't fit moderate sized male head without tearing, doubles as a choker! Welp....... not like there's any point in exchanging it since the replacement would be the same size. Buyer beware!
My head is large but not abnormally so. This beanie is painfully tight so maybe steer clear if you have a large head. If anyone wants a red one, hit me up.
Heads up folks - don't put the neck warmer in the dryer, or you'll never be able to fit it over your head again. That thing shrunk like Rick Moranis's kids.
