I dont recommend this product and the company at all. They had an horrible communication with backers after they announced out of the blue that the expected shippings were delayed due to covid and they asked for 16 dollars more of shipping if wanted to ship faster. Two months since i sent emails to make a refunds, still no answer.
You are out of touch with the world. Shipping destinations availability has been uncertain ever since covid started. If you truly believe that they would know 6 months down the line what is the situation then you are a fool. And also, if you want to blame anyone, blame your country. I got my tray box on time without delay like 98% of the shipment made by them. You are the exception. Blame your own country for this blunder.
WGkeonI didnt read more than your first sentence, since you look like you go with the intention on putting the blame on people and costumers.
I wont even bother with people like you, if you want proof on how they lied and mismanaged communication with the backers, go to the kickstarter page and youll see plenty of examples, including selling and making black friday marketing with some backers still without the item they backed.
I have the box here https://youtu.be/0n-fvLMwagc. Timestamp is 2:44.
I have both the all-in-one tray and the sectioned off tray and both are great and easy to change out (just lift it off)! You can take out the dividers if you want too. I hid one of the dividers underneath the gray liner inside.
HoneybadgersI agree.
In my case, the concern is with the magnets potentially magnetizing a mechanical watch movement.
Does anyone know if this will happen with this tray? Strong magnets near mechanical watches is a recipe for disaster.
I will absolutely NOT buy a magnetic EDC tray without an unequivocal assurance from the manufacturer that it will not aversely affect my watches.
It’s the manufacturers move if they want this sale.
Please let us know. Otherwise, can’t take that chance.
K.T.NMagnets affecting a mechanical watch movement is WAY, WAY bigger an issue. It takes a fairly strong magnet to damage electronics/chips. It does NOT take a strong magnet to damage a watch movement. I wouldn't risk it even if the manufacturer guaranteed me it was okay. Getting a mechanical watch movement demagnetized is about $250 minimum around here.
BrantlydI believe these are made in China, and they have far more orders than current product inventory can fill. So they are scrambling to get more made, but China is a sh..storm right now. I am a superbacker on Kickstarter. Most of the stuff there is made/assembled in China and there are delays on everytning.
truizI actually received the product about 5 days after my post. Which has happened twice now with Drop. Makes me wonder if there is someone at drop not paying attention until we ask a question.
Anyone know off hand if the aluminum on the bottom section is strong enough to block out car "key" fobs? I'm talking about the ones that you keep in your pocket and the car just unlocks.
Vehicle break-ins/internal vandalizing has been a major problem in my neighbourhood. We're pretty sure it's some little punks with too much time on their hands (probably due to the pandemic) who picked up one of the signal amplification gizmos.
