If I have the "Massdrop X Grace Design Standard DAC Amplifier MDX-15811-1" is this a product worth upgrading to? I have hd6xx's and a Magni 3+ as a headphone amp
I would have thought they'd want to upload a product photo that shows better tolerances in how the product fits together. Perhaps that explains the difference between MSRP and the actual DROP price?
MOUSAI MSD 129 DAC was recognized without driver in WINDOWS10.
The question I was so curious about was solved without a hitch.
DROP, who sells the damn DAC, and the company that makes products, didn't even think to test it by connecting it directly to WINDOWS10, which is used by both dogs and cows.
Irresponsible things! it's not funny
Sound quality evaluation:
The sound texture is alive. It expresses the depth of the music well and makes you feel high-end. It's a good DAC.
sosya2000lol glad you answered this, I think I was interested but didn't want to risk it due to unknown situation with drivers.
Now I might seriously consider it, thanks!
i didn't have the switch in back in the right position, but it doesn't sound loose when shaken, and i shook it like a baby. yours might have actually got banged up in shipping
Joined the drop, don't really need a dac, just kind of curious. I get the feeling it would pair well with a se tube amp. Has anyone tried swapping the op amps?
