Sure, there are better keycaps out there, but to get doubleshot shine-through keycaps at this price is almost always a good deal. I got the black and red set, colors are vibrant and look great on my board
This caps are awesome for the price, bought 2 sets and every cap came without damages.
The caps are R3. They fit a bit to tight on the stems, pretty hard to remove them afterwards.
packaging was pretty poor, they came in a plasticbag with tubes for each row in a cardboard, but i guess for that price thats alright.
My keycaps arrived with scratches and blemishes, which most likely happened during shipping. That being said they are great quality for the price compared to more expensive SA profile keycap sets.
I wouldn’t say the keys are “bad” but they look way cooler in the pictures. Maybe it’s a preference, they are pretty cheap though. I give them 3 stars because I haven’t purchased enough keys sets in this price range to know as much as I’d like to. They don’t have the slight rough surface of the keys from my CRTL, which I love. Those keys but less opaque so light could shine through them would be awesome. This set hides most of your back lighting and the actual dye color is fugly. And they’re like big clunky shiny cheap feeling keys. As I’m typing this I’m wondering why I haven’t thrown them out. I keep thinking maybe I’ll try them out and like them one day. It’s never gunna happen though. I think I should try some set that’s absurdly expensive cuz I can’t imagine keycaps being so good I’d be happy to spend $150 on a set.
Didn't realize these were SA profile keys when purchasing but used them for a couple of months. Took a bit of getting used to the extra height. At one point I mixed them with OEM profile keycaps for fun and that was interesting!
These keys look great and feel and work perfectly without any sign of degradation or anything of course. Personally I think the yellow (from the yellow/blue combo) was a bit too bright in my opinion but I usually type in the dark anyways. The bright yellow bouncing the white light in my room is probably why it may be perceived as too bright. Though definitely worth the price if you like SA profile keys!
