Just got my HEM8s. Sound pretty good, very nice fit in my ear as well. The highs had slight sibilance, though I was catching some distortion off a DAC misconfiguration and it solved the problem and chilled back down; mids are fairly balanced, and lows are very tight, not too boomy. They are VERY detailed. Curious what’ll happen when I switch to a balanced cable. Burning them in gently for now.

matteodavidkingCould you link a balanced cable? I cant find one, i would like to order one for my hem8 as well, thanks in advance!

Frost01I haven’t attempted balanced as of yet, but from the research I've done, 2 pin Alo Audio cables work. Theoretically any 0.78mm 2-Pin should work, it just won’t look as clean as the OEM cable.
