God dang. Saw the drop. Cooked my sons breakfast. Came back, the cream dial's gone. Lesson learned: Kids go hungry next time!

Oh for sure. The black's OK, but I'm not sure I ever even seen someone wearing rose gold and they certainly do crop up an awful lot in bargain bins. I mean, *maybe* the gold tone but not at a premium. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Is this watch the same that appears on Orient USA website? it seems like the one in this drop has the rotor plain whereas the one in orient website is engraved.

LonginosCurious that there has not been an official reply. Even Amazon appears to be selling with the engraved rotor.

jdmcdermI purchased a champagne version and can conform that the rotor is indeed engraved.

At least $12 less and no waiting. Not affiliated with this business by the way:). https://www.worldofwatches.com/mens-mechanical-classic-leather-black-dial-orient-ra-ap0005b-ontraap0005b

NiceGatorMy only concern is that the warranty here isn't manufacturer's. Where are they going to get the parts for the watch if they need it? Orient USA won't even sell me a replacement dial let alone a balance wheel.....

Love this watch. I put mine on a Speidel Twist-O-Flex. This particular version of the Twist-O-Flex fits the 21 mm lugs very nicely and adds to the vintage look (in my opinion). I ordered the Vulture Premium Badalassi Carlo strap from Drop and look forward to trying it out (ships in August).

So, I ordered the RA-AP0003S10A. Officially not sold outside US. But now I'll have one...

$10 dived by 25 days is only about forty-cents a day. In other words, if I bought this watch from Amazon, where it's presently selling for ten-bucks more than on this drop, I could conceivably be wearing it TOMORROW (thanks to Amazon's new 1-day shipping) vs waiting the twenty-five plus days it's going to take MASSDrop to conclude the drop and ship it to me. So, is it worth the extra forty-cents per day? I'd say YES. Of course that's easy for me to say, because...I'm not into dress watches and I'm not an Orient-guy either! I'm just tossing out the proposition to those of you who are. I know a lot of you are into this watch (they're great-looking and very reliable) so I'm curious to hear what you're going to decide; here or there? Now, if this drop was for a Seiko SRPC44, and Amazon's price was ten-bucks more, than MD's with next-day shipping, I damn sure wouldn't wait a minute longer to save the difference. On the other hand, it turned out that damn SRPC44 is nearly $30 more on Amazon this morning, than it was on eBay! So you know what I did? I ordered it on eBay and now I'm going to have to wait for it! Goes to show ya--the value of instant gratification is a fairly relative thing!

RayFGuess what: I ordered one now, on this drop (Champagne variant of course). The small seconds is not for sale here in Europe and Amazon is now more pricey... Beggars can't be choosers...

Part number for the one ending in 1S10A and the one ending in 2S10A are switched, according to Orient Web Site, the Rose Gold case with White Dial is 1S10A, and the Silver Case with White Dial is 2S10A. Kind of a big deal because Massdrop is charging more for the Silver Case with white dial, but they have shown the wrong part number, so which is it please Massdrop????

While I don't wear much gold, I was in the market for an inexpensive expensive looking gold dress watch. (That made sense, right? LOL) I purchased the Small Second Bambino in goldtone with white dial and, by the way, paid substantially more than Drop's price. The watch has proven to be a value laden quality timepiece, running flawlessly and keeping COSC time. I feel very confident recommending this purchase to anyone in the market for a reliable, great looking and quality watch punching far above its' price.

This watch is available on longislandwatch.com. It's definitely a great deal for the RA-AP0002S10A, RA-AP0003S10A and RA-AP0005B10A (the $170 post-tax versions), but the other two which are going for $190 post tax here are available for $190 and $200 elsewhere, which is no longer even a deal after tax and shipping. Still, it's a beautiful watch, definitely looks better in person and would highly recommend as a lower-end dress watch that can be worn up or down. It's by far my favorite orient bambino.
