treal512Not sure if you really wanted an answer to your question, but I agree the jacket doesn't quite look right. It was a bit big for the model, and the hood was pulled back so you could see her face fully, but that isn't the way it was intended to be worn, so the hood looks oddly large.
I received jacket, ordered extra large so I could wear warm sweaters underneath, but it was tiny! Feels like a childs extra large. Has anyone else had similar problem?
Noreen212I tried it on at rei and found it to be a very slim urban fit. I think it's meant to be a city coat, something you'd throw on when it's drizzling outside in a city like Seattle, (where generally you wouldn't have a super thick down puffy on).
Has anyone found the detailed measurements of the jacket sizes? All the reviews everywhere say it fits small and advise sizing up or even going two sizes up.
Although I really want this jacket, I think I'll pass because I can't find it locally to try on.
ChloeBChloe, the model for this photo shoot is 5'4", usually wears a Small in everything, and was modeling a size small jacket. She was wearing a baselayer but could have easily fit a down sweater or thick fleece under the Helium jacket. I would say this particular jacket fits fairly true to size. It is longer and does taper a bit around the upper waist, so I could understand it not fitting everyone equally well. Hoping others can chime in here too.
