An average adult needs about 2,000-2,500 cals/day. And in a survival situation preferably more, depending on circumstances of course. This is more like a 4-day food supply. I'm out.

CalaverasgrandeYou cannot "survive" on 800 calories a day. You are in CALORIC DEFICIT, in which your body will CONSUME ITSELF (fat, muscle, etc.) to survive. Once your body exhausts those resources, you start dying. You can "survive" on 800 calories the same way you can "survive" on 0 calories: For as long as your body can make up the difference between what it's getting and what it needs to continue functioning.

Some toxic fucking comments. Looks great for emergencies like when I was in a wildfire and the grocery store was out of power. Screw the naysayers, stay prepared and keep this in some storage and forget about it. It's about mitigating risk.

Free shipping on Patriot’s site for orders over $99. These are $39.99 on their site. If I ordered 3 from PP, it would be $117.00. 3 from Massdrop with CA sales tax comes to $113.65, Plus a FREE extra month wait! For the $3 I save I might starve to death if disaster strikes in the month I’m waiting for delivery. Boo again Massdrop, booooooo
