Who said dried food has to taste bland? With Patriot Pantry’s 1-week food supply ammo can, you’ll get 42 servings of delicious pre-prepared meals in a compact, emergency-ready package Read More
An average adult needs about 2,000-2,500 cals/day. And in a survival situation preferably more, depending on circumstances of course. This is more like a 4-day food supply. I'm out.
CalaverasgrandeYou cannot "survive" on 800 calories a day. You are in CALORIC DEFICIT, in which your body will CONSUME ITSELF (fat, muscle, etc.) to survive. Once your body exhausts those resources, you start dying. You can "survive" on 800 calories the same way you can "survive" on 0 calories: For as long as your body can make up the difference between what it's getting and what it needs to continue functioning.
Some toxic fucking comments. Looks great for emergencies like when I was in a wildfire and the grocery store was out of power. Screw the naysayers, stay prepared and keep this in some storage and forget about it. It's about mitigating risk.
BiscuitsandcrazyFor all you haters - every person who takes responsibility to prepare for the next hurricane, or flood, or snow storm, is one less person standing in the food line - in front of you - at the FEMA aid station. They are one less person putting stress on EMS, and local charities.
Many12That's just silly.
Comments / opinions positive or negativ, backed by arguments should be as many as possible to help others decide whether the product is for them or not.
Seems like the marketing of this product is stirring up a lot of passions.
How is the food itself? Anyone tried it?
Is it any good?
That’s what I want to know.
Free shipping on Patriot’s site for orders over $99. These are $39.99 on their site. If I ordered 3 from PP, it would be $117.00. 3 from Massdrop with CA sales tax comes to $113.65, Plus a FREE extra month wait! For the $3 I save I might starve to death if disaster strikes in the month I’m waiting for delivery. Boo again Massdrop, booooooo
bmangasNo, more like if you need to buy prepackaged zombie apocalypse provisions in an ammo box obviously playing off the “patriot” sales tactics, you just might be a gun nut.

If you need something that'll provide more calories and last longer, just buy McDonald's food.
