FYI: For those missing the power cable,
5.5mmx2.5mm power connectors are available on amazon for a few $. If you can't solder, they have a screw type as well.
The $20 refund seems the way to go if you have basic skills, about $10 to make a power cable and purchase a 3.5mm audio cable.
Got my pair yesterday. They are missing the 1/8" stereo to stereo cable which connects to your computer (or whatever device you are using) and, missing the power cable that connects the right speaker to the left speaker. The only cable that came with it was the universal power cord. There was also a "Quick Start Guide" but no full fledged owner's manual. While the packaging looked new, I'm wondering if this pair was their photo shoot sample or a customer return due to the missing items. That would be pretty unprofessional of Drop if that is the case. When I contacted customer service they said , "I'm afraid we only order the exact quantities needed for each run, which means there is no extra inventory available to send as a replacement. Our business model is based on group purchases, so we do not have the ability to procure individual replacements from the vendor at this time". They have offered me either a $20 credit to keep the speakers as is or an RA to return them. This is NOT good customer service. I can't believe they won't contact the manufacturer to obtain the missing cables for me. I can't hook them up without them and the speaker to speaker cable is an odd, coaxial type power cord design which I have no clue as to its connectors size (2.1mm or 2.5mm??). I have found Drop's past customer service to be exemplary. This is not the case this time around. I'll have to contact PSB and ask them to help, I guess. Very disappointed with this sudden lack of concern by Drop for their customer base. I have bought headphones, expensive watches and scarfs and other items from them so it's not like I'm a first time buyer.
EmilGGreat info! Thanks! If you want to order the cables directly from PSB, they are item #PSB AP 1-AIC (3.5mm AUX input cable) and, PSB AP 1-PLC (Powerlink cable). Cost in the USA is just under $20 plus shipping and any applicable tax.
