RoDillaThe Audioengine A2+ includes a built in DAC for $50 more. The HD3 includes a DAC, separate headphone amp, front volume control, and Bluetooth connectivity for $150 more. I'm currently using the HD3 in my office as my solid state headphone amp to power the Utopia. The TI/Burr Brown components are nothing to get all excited about but it is completely transparent to my ears. I haven't heard the PSBs but I imagine that they all sound just about the same: excellent for the size and price.

RoDillaThe only speaker company I hate more than bose is audioengine. They bloat the mid bass to make people think they are getting bass but what they're actually getting is a boomy box of crap!
