Terrible quality unfortunately, the rings where the clips connect fell off first time I used them as they weren't properly attached to the bag. The clips themselves; the spring that is supposed to close the clip failed because the clip itself was poorly moulded and had no smooth action from open to close and vice versa, the friction between the mating surfaces jamming it so opening and locking your bag became a pain.

I've had the same issues as others, after just a couple days a part of the left side clip fell off, and at the beginning they were difficult to use and didn't spring back. "They" do now.
And I put "they" in quotations because after just a few weeks the left side clip simply fell off, in similar fashions to which others have experienced.
Also, I just generally don't like the design of the two compartments, I find that it's not well supported and thus flimsy, which makes the storage of items that aren't the full length of the bag awkward. Along with that, the side pocket is so very deep for how narrow it is. I use it for my car keys but they're difficult to remove each time I go to grab them.
What I also found was that the plastic which is placed between the leather straps and the canvas was quite poorly cut. It overhangs, though doesn't look too bad because it's clear plastic, but even still the fact that such a thing has happened is just disappointing.
Another issue I have with the design, though I honestly don't know how you're supposed to avoid with this style of bag, is the handle. If you don't secure the front flap via the clips, it makes it a massive hassle to use the top handle, and will probably cause the contents to tumble out.

Like the others below, mine also arrived with damaged clips. They didn't "spring" shut and popped open frequently, which is a shame, since it's otherwise a nice bag. I've sent it back to MD, as this issue is a deal-breaker.

So I've had this bag prepared for my start at uni. I was super excited about it, that was until I started using it and noticed the clamps are not up to par and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. It's sad that one of the clamps broke and now I have to be careful when I use it so I don't loose my laptop.
Anyway Il probably try to fix this bag myself and hopefully others won't have the same issue. Would not recommend any other members purchase this product unless the quality is improved or at least the issue is addressed.

Arrived yesterday. Hardware to keep the bag closed broke this morning. Bag has stains near the leather bottom and where the leather straps are stitched to the canvas
