Please be aware that SainSmart has very shady quality. I used their ramps for my second RepRap build and am deeply dissapointed. If you want budget electronics, be smart and add some bucks for hassle & risk free work ;) Quote from RepRap IRC "<kthx> sainsmart is known to have flaky quality. Some get awesome electronics, others have crappy non-working electronics"
Hi Everyone,
Most of the orders hit the shipment cutoff time today, and the few remaining orders will go out first thing tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your patience!

Hey everyone,
We just got word that our order of the RAMPS Kits has been shipped out by SainSmart.
We’ve already alerted our warehouse staff about the shipment, so we should be able to process it and get it shipped back out to you guys within 24 hours of its arrival.
Cheers!
Hey everyone,
We’ve just submitted our order for the RAMPS Kit with SainSmart.
Now that the order has been placed, SainSmart will prepare it for shipment. In the meantime, we will also be getting our warehouse ready to handle the reshipment of the product to everyone as soon as it arrives.
The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipment schedule from SainSmart, we will provide you guys with the updated information.
Cheers!
nelsonI'm new to the whole mass drop thing: About how long does this take out of curiosity? I imagine you guys get the shipment next week, then mail it out the same week, and we get it the following? Is that roughly right?3 weeks or so?
Hi, I realize this is maybe not in good spirit with the Massdrop community, but I'm a little unhappy that this drop has been extended twice.
It was evident to me that it wasn't going to make it a few days in and I since ordered a RAMPS kit from another vendor. But now after two extensions, it looks like I'm going to be selling this on eBay if/when I get it.
I certainly appreciate and expect to honor my commitment to the buy when I joined it, but I have to wonder if there's a limit to how long a buy can be extended -- I'm not seeing it addressed in the terms of service.
While members make a commitment when they join a buy, I would think Massdrop should have a commitment to not keep us on the hook for an extended period. As you well know, in the case of 3D printers, do-it-yourselfers are often trying to plan purchasing and shipping schedules with multiple vendors to get all their pieces together on a predictable schedule.
I'm just a little frustrated with this one and wanted to address it. That said, I'm very excited about the Nema stepper motors drop and am thrilled to be participating.
Thanks.
kellymcMy apologies, I've been the one extending it per the vendor's request! It won't be extended again, we just really wanted to actually ship these out. Now that we've actually made it past the first level, it looks like we actually will be able to make our first order with SainSmart.
If you're just going to be selling this as soon as it gets to you, please e-mail support and ask them to cancel your order.
So, dumb question - I'm one of the "purchasers", and it already went through Paypal - what happens if we don't get one more buyer? I lose my money? I get one regardless? I get none?
The description says I won't, but that they charged my paypal seems odd.
