Great looking watch but I steer clear of anything with a butterfly clasp. Without the micro adjustment they're either too loose, or too tight! There's never a happy medium!
Presage are great watches. I like SS model more and it's cheaper that yellow gold toned one.

The steel model with blue dial is also sapphire crystal, in case anyone was wondering since they didn’t include that bit of info.
Also, the same version is available at jomashop for $299. Joma typically has a $20 off every $300 and in my experience it works on $299 as well. If you’re in the US it might be a better option.
Almost wish that I was in the market for a new dress watch. (I'm not. I know because my wife said so.) That being said - this is a very nice watch. It is curious though that the silver version is identified first as having a steel case and then as having a stainless steel case. Fear of comittment - ? Alloyed at the atomic level resulting in phase shifting material? Golly. Now I am confused. . . .
I had the SRPB46 (brown + rose gold) for a few months. It was okay. Main issue for me was the size - too big. But I also don't like the case shape, the bubble crystal, and how light it felt. This one is a step in the right direction for me - at least they're not ruining dial symmetry with a 3 o'clock date window. That's a huge leap forward. Still going to pass until they start making Presage models with higher bezels, toss the bubble crystals for flat, and bring it down to 38mm. But again, glad to see them moving that date window!
DantrviewYeah, i have two Zen Garden watches and the sizes are not quite right. The SRPC81J1 is 41.7mm, but does have a bit of detail with a herringbone dial and roman numerals. The SRPD99J1 is 38mm with just stick indices and a textured dial. I wish either were a 40mm. But I do gravitate to the 38mm...
chiriaSeiko makes the same models for the US market that don't say made in Japan on them. I have a Srpd55 aka 5KX and it's the US version that doesn't say made in Japan. Same exact watch(es) except for that writing on the watch face!

'Zen Buddhism is founded in intuition and simplicity'
Is just nonsense. Cha'an practice is founded on insight and direct apprehension of the nature of reality. A mistranslation may interpret this as intuition.
The western perception of Zen being synonymous with simplicity is puzzling. This may have to do with the Zen practitioners austere lifestyles. Or perhaps a simplistic interpretation of koans.
