As titled.
And when you think this was an official partnership between drop and Sennheiser, you're wrong.

ttft2012what... i own the 800s since like 2 years ago that have the same cup design and this has never happened to me and doesnt even look close to happening at all. Even if that would happen the cups should be able to be reattached as far as i know.

ttft2012Purchased my HD820 new and my earpads were not attached either. Not an issue, though. Just align them and press them in. After 4 months they have not detached once.

ttft2012Earpads easily coming off is one thing.
Later you will realize other parts of the headphones (on the arm side) coming off.
Then you will realize the squeaks.
Then Finally when your Ear Gets Hot then you will realize the condensation on the gorrila glass making it look disgusting.
I sold mine.
edit: one more. The earpads for your 800 or 800s do not fit on these.
