I need an Apple genius...I'm tired of iTunes after a lot of years but can't find a way to transfer music from iTunes to a DAP. If I make a duplicate copy of all my songs into .mp3 format, can they then be transferred to a DAP? Thanks!

I had purchased one recently from the big A store, I wanted to downsize from my former ifi dac. I had tried a Activio ct10 and had returned it as it didn't sound that great. I was getting worried I had downsized too soon, but after listening to this on a balanced cable, I am very happy with the sound. Very comparable to what I had with my old ifi. I use dsf/flac/wav formats. The interface is clunky and like 1980s -- most functions are via the wheel, rotate and click. I can cope with this as I have a great sounding Pioneer DEH-80PRS in my car that has a horrible UI. If the UI is critical to you, you probably want something else. If the sound is critical and you want portable, I think this sounds as good as the ifi micro idsd. One more item -- the bluetooth is hirez, but it is flakey, changing volume can cause sound skips. I really enjoy the wired experience with my Meze 99 and this. I have yet to try it as a dac, will update when I do.

For 200 USD you can not implement a reliable DAP, proper DAC, proper amp, proper OS, proper outputs (3,5 and 2,5 balanced!), proper battery, proper dial, etc. As they mention, it just checks all the boxes.

how does this compare to the M0 in features and audio quality? I like my M0 but lack of custom EQ and the simplistic navigation have been the worst parts of the DAP. For example I have no way to correctly organize songs by Artist name so bands with guests appear many times.

nasedaseI've been researching the M0 recently and they added full custom eq in the latest 3.0 firmware update. Overall though how do you like it so far? I've been looking at the M0 and the Hidisz AP80, though the m3s at this price is something I'm also considering.

nasedaseM3S sounds better, imo. Bigger soundstage, better resolution. The scroll wheel is the biggest problem on M3S.

Just wanted to share that http://www.hifiheadphones.co.uk/ has m3s cases on sale for a little over $5, shipping to US close to $11, all colors (or should I say colours)
