If you have the money I'd go Seiko too. Prices are so much higher. I often buy used.

It's really sad the impact Invicta watches have had on the industry ..... First, it's clown sized watches, and telling us a 45mm can "easily" be worn by women with a 6" wrist .. Now it's absurd retail prices we are supposed to believe. What's next..... "Flame fusion" crystals and "Swiss gold layering" will be all the rage?

This forum is increasingly predictable. It's not real abalone. It's crap. It's absurd retail price. It's not this and that. Jeez, don't you have day jobs? For 139$ it offers original style and function. Show us better at that price.

Psst: if it was a good watch, it wouldn't say SHIELD on the dial.

Who came up with this MSRP and what drugs were they on? Seriously though, it is insulting to the company, the buyers, and the dealers to have an inflated MSRP like that.
Hello. The watch has a 200m rating. We have corrected the specs. Thank you for the call out!

The Shield site says this watch has a 200m rating. Maybe this one is different, but a glass back on a 300 meter watch seems dubious.

Some of us do take our watches diving. I take my Divers out to depth on occasion. But if I am going really deep, I wear my Omega Seamaster Chronometer. And to be clear, I wasn't harping about the stated specs, just noted the difference in specs from the manufacturers website. That said, I am not sure a 200 meter watch with a glass back would hold up at that depth for any decent duration of time.

Glad to hear you're a real diver and not just another desk-diver like the rest of us on MD, and I'm especially glad you wear a real diving watch when you do--I'd hate to think of you searching for the Lost Fleet of Kublai Khan with a damn Shield Atlantis strapped to your arm!
