I already have Hifiman HE-R7DX, would it make sense to pick these up? Only complaint I have with R7DX is that I wish it has less clamping pressure LOL (the opposite of everyone else's problem, where it's too loose, it's too tight on me), also I thought the pads felt odd, it's like wide and flat, maybe I'm more used to contoured pads. Anyone can chime in who has both?

I'll pile on and say that I also really like these cans, price notwithstanding. The price is just the cherry on top. They are light, very comfortable (perhaps the most comfortable cans I've ever used), and sound great all-around. My only, very insignificant complaints are that the bass is way too strong IMO (especially if you are used to a flatter sound signature), and the ear pads aren't replaceable (not that I want to, but in case they are damaged / worn-out, etc. The stock pads are very comfortable). Mids pop, the treble doesn't aggravate, and the soundstage is good by closed-back standards. Not miracle-workers, just surprisingly good. I knew these were keepers within minutes of trying them out. I paid $150 for mine when they first released, so IDK Drop is selling at that price.

AGAIN! What's with it Drop?! This is the same price on Amazon and if a Prime member, you will get it in 2-3 days. (Drop's "free standard shipping" is very slow.) I've purchased 2 pairs of the SIVGA SV021 (they are a great entry closed back): 1 as a gift, and 1 for me. Pray tell, when will Drop's negotiators / pricing folks do better homework? I just don't get you guys. Oh, and BTW, you can choose the peanut butter color you offer or black on Amazon.

The Sivga SV021 are, at the very least, peculiar in their tuning. They surely are nowhere near being balanced, with massive bass, wonky mids and sibilant treble. Some may like them as they surely can be fun with the right music, but there are better options out there (and here on Drop as well) than these.
