Can anyone confirm if the M8 upsamples the coaxial or optical inputs to higher rates (96, 192, 384 KHz) from a standard 44.1KHz signal? If so, how does one set the upsampling rates? Already have the ifi nano DSD (quite wonderful, by the way) but am looking for something to work as a standalone DAC for my living CD player.

pozoI believe that the ESS 9018 DAC chip upsamples internally as a way of reducing jitter. I have a Grace M920 which has an anti-jitter system called S-Lock. I hear no change on the coaxial input with or without S-Lock engaged.
