I like that it's light and compact but the cylinder shape of the larger one makes it pretty likely that you'll burn anything that requires simmering. The other draw back is that it's clearly quite top heavy which makes it kind of unstable. It's great for boiling water and making oatmeal or ramen, though. Very solid construction. It fits into a pack very well with a stove and 8 oz fuel, and utensils.
