How easily does the volume knob turn in your pocket? Anyone know? I have the HA2-SE and will be returning it because it turns so easily, even in loose fitting shorts and pants.
NikeDo you have any opinion on the sound quality of the Wolfson dac? I have heard that generally speaking a Wolfson would be "warmer" than, say, a Sabre, described as "analytical" Do you have insight into this particular dac? Also, you mentioned compatibility with older daps. I have heard that the iPod classics starting with the "iPod Video" (5th Gen) through the 7th Gen have good dacs, with the 5th Gen and 5.5th Gen using Wolfson dacs. Do the Wolfson in this PHA-1A and the Wolfson in the iPod Classic have similar sound signatures? I'm thinking of buying something like this dac/amp or the 5.5th Gen iPod Classic.
