Hey! Look at what just arrived! More compact than I expected (not a bad thing at all). Decent case if you see yourself traveling with these a lot.
Here they are beside my set of Parrot Zik3s. I’m no audiophile so will leave those observations to the experts. Nevertheless, they sound great with the first few tracks I played. Very slight hiss when used on Bluetooth, but nothing distracting. This apparently goes away with corded use.
These may need to be handled delicately. They are all plastic construction. If handled roughly I can see them breaking at the joint if forced.
Both Business Insider and PC Mag review these quite favorably. 🤔
Anyone here already own these and can share their thoughts?
UPDATE: Well, I'm not so impatient that I need them to arrive in two days, so I ordered a pair here. HOWEVER, for the rest who are interested, the drop requires at least 4 more folks to order. Otherwise, the drop will be cancelled.
"For this run to be successful, at least 4 members are needed to join. If the minimum order quantity isn’t met, the run will be canceled." Now whether that's 4 total, or the note is saying '4 more' on top of those that have already ordered - I don't know. Perhaps Drop Staff can let us know how this works, and whether the limit has been met?
ClockworkOrangutanlate last year i saw them as low as $57 on amazon, too. i think they're "worth it" for $65, but the Drop price isn't all that enticing compared to amazon's fast delivery.
ZaborgZaloogLDAC has some issues with latency among others. Developer settings must be enabled and the bitrate must be set to 990 kbps (Best Quality) to get max quality, which some phones don't support. I'm not really one to ask about this, however I can say generally LDAC-equipped bluetooth audio (especially headphones) will be more expensive as well. Here's a link to a better explanation. https://www.soundguys.com/ldac-ultimate-bluetooth-guide-20026/
