Sturmanskie Gagarin Commemorative 33mm Mechanical Watch

When Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first-ever human in space in 1961, the world went wild. In honor of that historic day, Sturmanskie has released this limited-edition timepiece—2000-piece run—styled exactly like the watch worn on Gagarin’s wrist. In the name of historical accuracy, the watch is sized at just 33 millimeters, which may be small by today’s standards, but is the same size as the original. Fitted with a Poljot 2609 mechanical movement, the watch has a power reserve of 42 hours. The dial is legible, thanks to Super-LumiNova coating on the hands and markers, and on theme, thanks to the cyrillic lettering and vintage look.
