Superb
First reviewer. Bass: good, some thump without too much, treble: good, not piercing, mids: there, with soundstage. These are not the most clear, relaxing, or powerful sounding IEM, but they have a little bit of everything in just the right amounts. They give $200 chi-fi and up a run for their money. The ergonomic fit is superb. If you're getting into audio and want IEMs, look not further. The cable is great, and unique. Seriously, get these. They belong in an audio collection and deliver sound way above their price tag. And since they balance everything, they are not a niche IEM, except perhaps the teddy bear on the right side, which I like.... They are for everyone who wants to enjoy music. FIVE big stars. These are a TOP pick on my list of IEMs to bring on a long trip.

Great for enjoying all types of music!

First off, I really like the shape and size.  Most IEMs fit my ears well, but these are small, with a proper shape, that should fit most people’s ears well, even those with smaller ears.  The available colors are very nice.  I like the red and blue.  The logos are fun.  The fit and finish is great, and they seem durable.   I have no criticisms of the build and design of these IEMs. The sound is only mildly V-shaped, with the mids a little recessed, but not too much.  Vocals, pianos, guitars are all very clear, and not overpowered by the bass or treble.  These are warm sounding IEMs, with deep, solid bass, and smooth treble.   There is plenty of sub-bass, but also a lot of mid-bass punch.  The midrange sounds lush, with the sweet analog sound of a dynamic driver.   They are plenty revealing and detailed sounding, but can’t match really good BA based IEMs on very fine detail retrieval.  The treble is crisp and clear, and doesn’t sound veiled at all, but is not as airy as IEMs with BA drivers for the treble.   The treble sounds a bit rolled off.  Overall, I consider these a very relaxing and musical IEM, with a lush analog sound, and enough resolution to hear fine details in recordings.   If you want to just enjoy good music for hours, these are great.  They are not ideal if you want a neutral and analytical sound.  That being said, I like the sound for all genres of music, so they are versatile. Compared to the TFZ No. 3 IEMs:  I like the shape of the S2 Pros a lot more than the semi-circle shape of the No. 3s.  They fit much better, and are more stable.  The No. 3s just sound bigger.  They have more of an exciting, in-your-face sound.  The bass is more massive on the No. 3s, and the treble is more pronounced, and a little brighter. The overall sound signature is quite similar on both IEMs though.  There seems to be a little more detail retrieval on the No. 3s.  I do prefer the No 3s, but not by that much.   For the price, the S2 Pros are an incredible deal.   If one already owns the S2 Pros, it may not be worth getting the No. 3s also.  It would make more sense to get a different sounding IEM, however, I do really like the sound of the TFZ No. 3s, and they are still my favorite single DD IEM.  I really can’t wait to receive the JVC HA-FDX1s!

Addendum: With regards to using one of these budget-friendly IEMs as a stage monitor, I personally would choose the TFZ S2 Pro over the TFZ No. 3, the KZ ZSX, the KZ ZS10 Pro, and the Tin Audio T2. Strictly based on sound, I prefer the No. 3, but the fit is a lot better with the S2 Pros. My second choice would be the KZ ZSX. Depending on your isolation needs, you may want foam ear tips, such as the Dekoni Bulletz. As far as the reliability of these IEMs as a stage monitor, that I don’t know.

Amazingly comfortable - lacking in depth
Overall, I give them a 7-ish out of 10. I got the black pair. They look the same as the pictures provided by Drop, so I don't feel the need to add any myself. I won't call myself an audiophile because, frankly, I'm not cultured enough in this realm to consider myself one. Because of that, please pardon my lack of technical phrasing and such. Initial thoughts: These IEMs have a solid low range. It's warm and soft when it needs to be, but can get thumpy or throbby as well. The lows are where the S2 PRO is at its best. The mids aren't really present enough for me to have a full opinion, and kind of mesh together overall. Vocals lacked richness and depth. The highs are my real issue, though. They sound hollow, and lack clarity at times, while at others are very sharp. There isn't much life to the high range. There's not much of a soundstage to speak of, either - it's all shallow and right in your ear. Instrument separation is not that great. Some instruments I could pick out and identify, while others were lost in the murkiness of the mids. While these excel in rap and electronica, they suffer in genres like rock and indie. Songs I used to test them (with letter grades on how they sounded next to them, because why not), were New Day by Karnivool (D-), Summer Girl by Fleurie (C+), Sol by Alef (B), Parallax by Direct (A), and Lack of Emotion by Skott (B-). The build is where these really shine. They're incredibly comfortable, and fatigue is nonexistent. I played Dark Souls and watched TV with them on for hours without any pain or discomfort. The look is interesting and definitely not for everyone, but I think a little cutesy splash in someone's look can be fun. The cable (cord?) is something I haven't seen before, like a plastic wire mesh. I'm definitely interested to see how it lasts. Like I said earlier, I'm not very well-versed in this kind of stuff, but I would say that these are worth the price here on Drop, though probably not the normal asking price around the internet. Okay to good sound, great build, fun look. I would recommend them, but only if you don't plan on making them your only pair of headphones.

These were delivered 20 minutes ago, and Im already giving them 5 stars simply for value
These headphones sound, look and feel incredible. I'm usually satisfied with decent quality and performance in the $50-80 range of wired headphones and I have used mostly klipsch and sony iems. The S2 Pros blow them all away on every front so soundly that I cant not give them 5 stars because Im very happy with this purchase. They looked great in pics, and felt very solid and well constructed. Maybe Im just new to these boutique listening instruments, as Ive never used detachable iems. The cables, plugs and every last piece is in my opinion, heavy duty and high quality. And, now, Im about 30 minutes into some pink floyd flac files played on a sansa clip and Im blown away by the sound. So clean and clear and powerful at low volume, these are great. Holy mackerel, the lack of noise between tracks is unbelievable.

Comfort and a pleasing sound signature for long listening sessions!
These are the most comfortable iems I’ve used to date, the highs are a little rolled off but I find it to be a good iem for edm, pop, and hip hop for long listening sessions. For under $40 it’s a nice looking and well built product as well!

Good fit and great sound.
Swapped out standard cable with balanced 2.5mm. Burn in with XLO burn in track for about 3 days. Good sound separation, tight low end notes, good mid range and highs. No harshness or brightness in high notes. Excellent sound at this price range.

I have these and the King Pro's. Love TFZ Iem's. Great cable, great sound, low price, and the red/blue color scheme looks cool.

Good... for the price
You generally get what you pay for. In this case, I didn't pay much, but I got a little more than I expected. The tips, fit, sound, appearance, and cable are bonuses. The sound had some low-end thump but otherwise wasn't special. The sound felt a little clouded and shouty due to the steep v-shape. However, these are excellent yard work/gym phones. They fit well, stay put, and the v-tuning works in distracted environments to hear over ambience.

Fantastic for the price
I bought a pair of these IEM's because I needed some for the gym that I didn't mind if they got wear and tear on. I have to admit I end up using these in my EDC more then my more expensive pair. They are a nice medium pair the high end is pretty decent and I personally like the low end. I have had others listen to them and they love them with the exception of the low end but in my opinion I am very pleased with the purchase.
