2 Hybrid IEMs for Heightened Listening
Linsoul’s in-house brand Thieaudio is back with two new IEMs—each featuring an ambitious name and a finely tuned sound that lives up to it. First is Excalibur: a triple-hybrid IEM with two Sonion electrostatic drivers, two Knowles balanced armatures, and one 10-millimeter dynamic driver. Playing to the strengths of each, the engineers at Thieaudio tuned the Excalibur for an exciting listening experience via powerful bass and crisp high-ends. Its counterpart, the Oracle, is tuned for reference listening. Starting with the same triple-hybrid driver array, Theiaudio gave the Oracle ruler-flat midrange frequencies, pinpoint pinna compensation placement, and sub-bass cut exactly at 200 hertz for subwoofer-like presence with plenty of room for the mids. For pristine signal transmission, each IEM comes with a 4-core Litz cable composed of 100 OCC copper, 5N silver-plated wires.
