I'm really tempted to buy this, but also the new Monoprice Monolith M570. But I'll probably just stick with my HD6XX, which is great, and pass on both.

Wow wtf I literally just bought these headphones off of their website like a month ago, I should have waited could of saved money lol
to any one looking into these, these are the best headphones i own the fucking bass is so god damn amazing and everything is so beautifully detailed i cry as i listen to music no bs
the extra cable that is 65 is a balanced xlr to 2.5 if anyone is curious
KilldaHoeYou are just right! Super Headphones. Buy the 4-pin XLR-to-2.5mm TRRS from Drop for 20 bucks and you are done. No need to buy that 65 Dollar Balanced cable!
Typical high end phones. Admirable attention paid to the drivers and a lack of attention to adjustability. Not only do people's head sizes differ, so too does the distance from the top of their heads (upon which the headband rests) to the middle of the ears and size and position of the buyer's ears. IMO, comfort is almost as important as SQ. As, what good is superb SQ, if you're limited to how long you can withstand the discomfort?
An ergonomically designed headphone would be adjustable in width for a comfortable level of pressure upon the head and would be adjustable in it's positioning on the ears. Given so much failure in this area is it imagination they lack or that they just don't give a damn?
DROP should be interested in this, as given Drop's no return policy... anyone who buys a headphone that they haven't actually tried out before buying has only themselves to blame if it not a good fit for them.
Aside from the weight, which I don't mind, my Elex are the most comfortable cans I own just all-around.
Jay nailed that comparison.
Only thing I like more is my broken-in HD600 set, mainly because they're so very light and easy to listen to.
I considered these but for $40 more, went for the Blon B20s. For the price difference, I think they are a better buy for comfort and build quality assuming the audio performance is more or less equivalent.
That's great. Tbh, I am quite interested in its pads. I own Aiva, and it came with new pads. But the pads were a bit small for me, I could feel the driver was on my ear. So i swap my pads to brainwavz angular sheepskin pads. It sounds great and feel really comfort. But I miss the material and design on aiva's pads, it looks gorgeous(From what I saw, m570 also shared the same materials). I wonder whether monoprice is going to sell the pads, I would definitely buy ones.
