Founded in Le Locle in 1853, Tissot was among the many companies that helped define Swiss watchmaking for a global audience. Now part of the Swatch Group, Tissot pays tribute to its hometown with the appropriately named Le Locle. With a clean, straightforward design that features Roman numeral hour markers, this svelte timepiece works as well with a suit as it does with more casual attire.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of style: White Dial/Leather Strap (33 units), White Dial/Stainless Steel Bracelet (+$10) (20 units), or Black Dial/Stainless Steel Bracelet (+$10) (20 units).
Offering sweeping seconds, the Le Locle is equipped with a Swiss Made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. In the center of the dial—available in your choice of black or white—is a checkered pattern, which produces an effect similar to that of the dimples on a golf ball. On the crown is an engraved T, for Tissot. It’s situated at the 3 o’clock position, as is a simple date window on the dial. Polished on top and brushed on the side, the case is sealed by a flat sapphire crystal. The watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters.
