An IEM In Tune with the Community
With the Mele IEM, Tripowin took input from the audiophile community to make a pair of earphones that excel in any setting. The Hawaiian Bad Boy (otherwise known as HBB), who runs the popular headphone channel “Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews” lent his expertise and feedback to optimize the Mele’s tuning. At the center of the performance is Tripown’s Accutune driver, which is a separately housed 10-millimeter suspended graphene unit that uses the tuned acoustics of its own housing to provide detail and power—rather than relying on the enclosure of the earphone for acoustic performance. Together with a tuning reminiscent of the well-loved BLON BL03, this driver offers a sound that’s natural in the mids and more balanced in the mid/high and treble frequencies. For a premium feel and connection, the Mele is housed in a CNC-milled aluminum alloy housing and comes with a 4-core OCC cable.
Note: all units come with a 3.5-millimeter termination.
