For the price not bad deal. Plus is they look great and built well. The fit could be better but for the price I can deal with it. The sound is so so. Nice lows deap and punchy but the mids just are missing something. The highs are a little harsh but mid range just doesn't come through well. The stereo image is really not to bad for this price point. Without spending another $100 bucks on a pair of IEM these are a good buy.
What kind of guarantee does this have? I bought the V80s in November , by May, the left IEM was producing intermittent sound(sound just cuts out). Drop offers 30 days, contacted TRN via email several times, someone from the TRN email addy told me to contact their dealer, but would never tell who the dealer was. Loved the bass on the V80s but I am hesistant that there is no warranty or customer service with TRN IEMs.
Nexonus, hello, thanks for the reply, I have tried several cables to no avail. Also I use the TRN cable from the TRN V80s on my CCA C10s, so it isn't the cable.
KopiOkaya here... Yes, I am the tuner of the V90. To those of you who are concern about peaky treble, afraid not! The highs of V90 has been tamed. The overall presentation is smoother, more coherent.
As for the logo, that is the new TRN brand insignia. It was designed by Ming (sales and marketing manager) at TRN based on the Chinese character "禄"(means good fortune).
How do they compare in sound and weight to the V20s? I have T2s as my primary drivers, but man I LOVED my V20s before they got lost while working. Best buds I’ve ever had at their price point.
@Solderboy23 this description makes sense much a lot detailed English. but if the reviews are true for this thing like you said @Whitedragem then these might be worth getting... if I wasn't already saving up for like 10 other things.
New Bee or RIYO, +/- $7, for a set of three pairs, from Amazon. Foam allows for a better seal (for me) and can help (a little) with overly bright earphones. My ears are asymmetrical, so I use the color coding to distinguish between the sizes and left and right.
mcslenderI can't say I have tried the V80s yet despite the hype, but I certainly havent had an issue with treble. I'm usually one for a more smooth sound so I'd definitely have an issue if there was one.
