They have been a long time partner of ours and they're reputation for mechanical excellence goes back over 100 years to their original founding as a Swiss knife maker. I managed to find this watch with a steel bracelet from tj maxx on clearance for around $67. It’s a nice little watch and I have enjoyed it for that price. Quite heavy with the bracelet, but on leather it’s nice as well. Edit; not really little in terms of size. Little as in, not a watch that you are purchasing as a large ticket item.

Remind me, when exactly did Quartz watches become "Classic" anyway? Curious: Amazon charges thirty-bucks LESS for the leather strap version, but MD is charging forty-bucks less for the steel bracelet. Guess we'll see how they address that conundrum when they post pricing tomorrow?

SusanAYou should double-check the prices in the listing. They are mixed up. Is the leather strap the cheaper one? According to the description and model # it is but it's not when you choose the model isn't from the picture. Just want to make sure I would be purchasing the one I actually want.
