Beautiful strap. I just posted three pictures of the strap installed on my Apple Watch 5. It makes the watch look larger than it does with the Apple straps. I have a fairly large (8+ inch) wrist, and am wearing it on the first hole. If your wrist is any larger, it probably won't fit.
technohippoMaybe a hair under 22mm, but the leather is very supple if you're thinking of squeezing it into a 20mm watch. I actually bought the 22 by mistake, I thought my new watch had 22mm lugs but they are actually 20. I was able to fit the 22/20 in. It looks a little pinched but I think it will relax over time.
I don't see any photos of the strap underside. The underside of the strap has a real effect on the comfort- suede is great for example. Any idea of the strap construction?
richtelGreat question. Thank you!
The back side of the strap is the same leather. I make each side of the strap with 1 piece of leather folded and skived, on the buckle side, so there is not any bulk where it overlaps.
A note on Vulture QC: I purchased two of their previous offering here, and on both the aperture for the springbars has expanded noticeably (the leather seems to be glued there, instead of stitched) so that the springbars have room to wiggle back and forth and there is pronounced play, allowing the leather to rub against the case and the springbars to pop out on at least one occasion. Not good for a strap at this price, IMO.
Sure thing -- and thanks for the reply and offer. I bought two from that drop, a brown and a green. The green is worse but is presently on my wife's watch, so here's a pic of the brown strap, with an old (9 years) DiModell for comparison:

You can see the stretching, almost to the point of tearing, and the springbars in question are a bog-standard width, while the strap was on on;y for a week or so. The quality of the leather and stitching elsewhere are superb, so this bit of the design was disappointing.
KirkwallThank you for the photos. It looks like that strap could have used an extra stitch towards the lug to prevent it from opening up like that. I am sorry that got by me. Please send me an email at vulturepremium@gmail.com with your strap specs and mailing address. I will make your replacement straps and get them mailed out asap.
Thank you, Will
