Originally released in 2006, the Warcraft Trading Card Game has captured the imaginations of WoW fans for years. This drop features seven different loot cards from the popular game, some more rare than others Read More
Having done the previous WoW loot card bundle, a word of advice:
Make sure TO KEEP A RECORD OF ALL NUMBERS YOU RECEIVE when you attempt to redeem. There's a few steps involved in doing so and some generate numbers on a website or in email that you'll need to redeem the loot-card in-game.
Unfortunately, the functionality to redeem these cards in-game is, at times, broken just as it was when I went to redeem the cards in my previous bundle. So if you don't keep those numbers it's possible you may not be able to redeem the cards in the future.
I'm glad I had the foresight to keep all the numbers I received in the process of redeeming it before but I know that it's something I would have liked to know ahead of time and something which may not be obvious upon receiving the cards.
Also, to be clear, the in-game functionality being broken isn't a function of your cards being bad, but rather is on the fault of Blizzard. A patch gets released and lo-and-behold it breaks it so they need to go back and repair it at some point. Neither Massdrop nor anyone else can control that. Only Blizzard and their code monkeys can :).
If you're really into pet battles, this isn't a terrible bundle to get. I think you could save money other ways, but I really appreciate this kind of MD.
