Portable, powerful, and equipped with a fully balanced output, the XD-05 Bal DAC/amp from xDuoo makes a comprehensive cornerstone to any audio setup. Handling conversion, dual ES9038Q2M DAC chips provide detailed sound with ultra-low distortion. Together with an XMOS XU208 USB chip, this hardware enables the XD-05 Bal to deliver Hi-Res signal decoding up to 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM and DSD512 natively. Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 with support for aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, and LDAC codecs, or use the XD-05 Bal’s wide range of additional inputs, including USB-C. On the output side, a fully balanced 4.4-millimeter headphone jack delivers an impressive 1000 milliwatts of power at a 32-ohm load. There’s also a single-ended 6.35-millimeter output to suit additional setups. Use the two-way gain toggle, boost switch, OLED screen, and a wide range of digital filters to fine-tune your sound.
