Constructed from premium-grade aluminum and featuring a type III anodized finish, Zebralight’s SC600 MKII L2 is equipped with a handful of features: pocket clip, lanyard ring, battery-capacity indicator, electronic soft-touch switch. But what sets it apart is its PID, which regulates output based on head temperature. The PID allows this compact flashlight—measuring just 4 inches long and about 1 inch wide—to put out more than 1,000 lumens on its highest level, and an equally impressive 670 lumens on its second-highest level. And that’s all on a single 18650 battery.
Note: At check-out, you will have your choice between the cool white (SC600, limit 45 units) and neutral white (SC600w, limit 20 units) lights. You can also add on an Eagletac rechargeable and protected 2600mAh 18650 battery (+$9) as well as an Xtar MC1 Plus charger (+$10).
Offering IPX-7 water resistance up to 2 meters for as long as 30 minutes, the flashlight is equipped with a Cree XM-L2, plus a smart interface for easy access to its various modes. And there are many of them. Each of three main brightness levels (high, medium, and low) is programmable to one of two sub-levels, and the second sub-level of each mode is further programmable. The flashlight is also equipped with a beacon and strobe, both with two brightness levels of their own.
The Eagletac 2600mAh 18650 battery is designed for high-capacity and high-voltage underload, which adds longevity and power to any system. To charge it, add the Xtar MC1 Plus to the package. It’s a simple charger designed to output a safe 1A maximum constant current, and it can charge both the 18650 as well as other lithium-ion batteries—and at twice the amperage as the original MC1, no less. It’s even capable of detecting the battery being charged and will select the most appropriate current at either 0.5A or 1A.
