ZMF Ear Pads for Fostex, Audeze & More

With these pads from ZMF Headphones, every listening session becomes more enjoyable. They're made of premium memory foam wrapped in thick natural lambskin or perforated lambskin, with a hand-stitched design that provides a soft, pliable feel. The shape of the ear cavity is roomier than most ear pads for a true over-the-ear fit, and a firmer “button” on the bottom of each pad increases isolation and helps funnel sound waves directly into the ear. All pads come with flexible attachment sleeving; no plastic rings are included.

ZMF’s smaller round pad, the Ori, fits HIFIMAN and Fostex TH series cans. The larger round pad, the Eikon, fits Audeze headphones and most similar-sized models. It also features slightly thicker lambskin and stiffer foam, which will soften with body heat during wear. Some who prefer larger pads like using the Eikon on the Massdrop x Fostex TH-X00. Though designed for round headphones, both kinds of pads can be stretched to accommodate other shapes if needed. 

The company's "flattest," most universally compatible pad, the Universe is just a touch angled: not too thin and not too thick. This pad is great for those who already like the tuning of their stock headphones, since they don't add much thickness when compared to most stock pads. It'll pair well with most full-sized headphones.

Developed to make headbands more cushioned and comfortable, the ZMF Pilot Pad is a headband pad with a Velcro attachment. It fits easily around any headband that’s less than 1.5 inches wide and ⅜ inch thick—and can fit around thicker headbands that are less than 1.5 inches wide. The soft outer material wears naturally and lasts a long time.

ZMF developed the perforated lambskin pads as a way to get a more neutral sound signature and increased staging by way of increased airflow. A moderate amount of pores were added to the lambskin to strike a balance, as too much air being let through would reduce bass.
