Little follow up... bout 450miles on the same pair pictures earlier (hopped around, tried a another brand of road shoes, have come back). Cushioning is muting a bit, no longer cloud-like- I'd say we're at 7.5/10 there. Still enjoyable to run in, kinda wish I'd bought a few more pairs since the other brand isn't as nice. The altras now feel firm but still far softer than the new balance minimus roads I loved before they went extinct. Starting to feel the old altras are like newer than new minimus roads. Signed up for the drop again if anyone else is interested.
It's nice of DHL to add a non avoidable COD fee of 20 dollars, at least with normal packages coming through the Canadian border there's only a small chance of getting nailed for import fees. Is using USPS really that hard?
Also aside from garbage shipping company's, these are some really nice running shoes I'm a size 8.5 and the 8.5's I ordered are actually TTS and amazingly comfortable (it's almost like wearing some comfy slippers) also I was surprised by the lack of weight these had considering how they felt during my test run on some gravel and other normally janky terrain.

Does anyone know if the cushion on these is sustained, meaning that it's support lasts past a week or two of regular walking use, say a few miles a day or 50 miles running? I usually buy Saucony Kinvaras or Virratas, but whether 0mm or 4mm, they tend to lose cushion almost immediately, and it feels as if I am moving on pure sole.
impassion175miles on a pair currently, run ~20-30miles week, mostly 10ks, but have done multiple 18milers in them. I fully expect them to stay cushy at least past 300. I thought the no-tread sole would wear out fast, but it's just as good as day one (so far) fwiw weigh 180-185 . hth.
miketech18same. I think these would probably do well, but I have the torin 1.0 pair and I can honestly say that without those, I would not have made it through some of my PT's for work. I have a back injury and the Torin shoes changed my world. I feel indebted to Altra's. haha.
Seth, more like the Merrells. My la sportiva was a better fit in a 10.5 than my normal 9.5 but my toes are wide so I needed the extra space. These fit great. Run out to a store that sells these shoes and try em on! I bought their trail runners recently and they're great.
