Does anybody know where I can purchase a replacement cable or 3rd party cable that also has an in-line mic? My cable has crapped out after 3 years and audio only plays through the left ear when wired unless I fiddle around with the end that plugs into other devices and bend it in a certain direction.
These are misleading cans. People claim they're "neutral" -- they're not. The M40x is far more neutral in the ATH-M line from Audio-Technica. I think these cans have shouty, shrill highs, and they are among the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever worn. Deeper, aftermarket pads are almost a must, as the cartilage on my inner ear was ON FIRE after just 45 minutes due to slamming against the grill. You can do better in this price range, for sure. Sennheiser BT 4.50, BT 4.40; AKG N700NCM2, Philips PH805, for starters.
For DJ-ing, I wouldn't expect these headphones' plastic hinges to withstand the stresses of the job. With an all-metal construction, V-Moda's headphones would prove to be a far better investment.
Today’s Amazon Deal of the Day (part of Prime Day 7/16)..this M50xBT is $129 right now..and it’s BRAND NEW.
Btw, I’ve seen factory refurbished of this model for as low as $117. Nearly scored and was eyeing for one, prior to procuring a Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC & a PXC 550.
Drop, formerly Mass uDrop? Lawyers? Now selling refurbished items? What has this world come to? Used to be Uber cool membership I’m sticking with Amazon! You can bet these phones are not Apple level refurbished! Time to cancel membership! The world has gone to hell! here!
I think it’s great to sell returns and refurbish items. The price is right too considering buying used popular headphones cost almost as much as new ones on eBay etc..
What's the point? You can add a $50 and get the brand new sealed in box all pretty and with manufacturers manufacturer's warranty. Why bother....thank you but no thank you. $50 for a used returned item that can smell of a cigarette smoke *read one buyer comments below*. This is a joke Drop :(
