I'm in your boat too. Technology: Love/Hate relationship.
You can make the DR650-2CH to function as your Right and Left camera. Now you will have a 4-Channel set-up and nearly complete vehicle coverage.
There are a few 4 Channel dash cams out there are, but they suck.
Here are two YouTube videos of two people who made a 4-Channel set-up using two BlackVue 2-Ch dash cams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPB9vI9qUkM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc2xsJbvsiI
I'm sure a front/rear set-up will be sufficient for most accidents, say 90% (just a hypothetical guess). The other 10%, Left/Right set-up should be able to ca

Blackvue will be releasing and shipping the DR900-2CH at the end of April. I am officially requesting Massdrop open a drop for the DR900-2CH. Please. I could not find a way to start a new request without putting it in this post. Thanks.

thats not true, the DR-900S uses HEVC h.265 compression, so the file sizes are pretty damn small for the amount of detail you get: https://www.blackvue.com/video-quality-settings-and-recording-time/ 4k30 front + 1080p30 rear H.265 Normal on the DR900S gets you 17 hours on a 128gb sd card 1080p30 front 1080p30 rear H.264 Normal on the DR750S gets you 18 hours on a 128gb sd card
H265 Normal has a higher bitrate than h.264 (what the DR750S uses) Highest quality: https://41b6m61nqt4k9za4l1qn24fq-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/dr900s-quality-settings-codec-h.265-h.264.png
If you wanted similar bitrate on the 750, youd have to opt for Highest quality, which only yields you 11 hours on a 128gb sd card.

What's the difference between this and the one on amazon? Amazon has prized it at 319 including power magic Pro which turns out 2$ cheaper than the one here(after taxes). Massdrop, please give me a compelling reason to wait a month for your deal.

No tax huh? No shipping cost is expected for this type of thing... I'm disappointed to see the $274 price "unlocked" but as more people join the price doesn't get lower? The price should get lower with every person who joins even if by cents... Is that how this works?
Not sure if the dollars saved are worth the time-to-payout...

TR3BThat would both make sense and be quite cool, but I've never seen that. Usually just a couple price unlocks, usually hit in the first 10 to 20 buyers.

What aftermarket cards is everyone using on the 750? I read transcend cards work well..

Any idea what card or brand memory card.

Soysaucy_NYCFrom what I read, I will go with Transcend High Endurance (silver color card) or Delkin 660X. Both were rated well on dashcam forums. As @vonWachtstein said, shoudl be an MLC card, but some have done well with Samsung EVO's.

Wouldn't mind seeing a drop for the "Cellink Battery B 2nd Generation" power pack.

BlackVue was unable to fulfill shipment of their cameras from the DR650S drop last week, and my order was refunded. What makes you think that this week things will be any different?
gvillezThe DR650S has been discontinued. We had limited remaining stock confirmed for last week's drop and we were notified while the drop was live that the stock was no longer available. This is not something that happens very often and we pulled the drop down immediately upon learning of the issue. The 16 people who joined the drop before we took it down were all refunded and offered an additional credit if I am not mistaken. The DR750S is brand new and as such we are not working with a limited supply.

gvillezBecause this is a new model. And they were discontinuing the 650S as they ran out of stock. So don't buy this one. Or buy it. If your money is refunded, what do you have to lose?

Anyone know how well the rear camera works through a tinted window? The rear windows on my pickup are fairly darkly tinted and I'm much more likely to get rear-ended than anything else.

Haven't gotten around to taking any pictures yet, been busy with work. I'll have some tomorrow probably.
And yeah, it all depends how you drive and where you drive. I personally prefer Diesel in general and the extra power it delivers so the fuel efficiency was close enough for me to just go with it. I got mine brand new off the factory line as well, love it as much as the day I got it!
LiveTrashIt's a fantastic car. I'm also from Ohio and it's (mostly0 built in Ohio, so win-win for me. On long trips I'm getting 50+ mpg with it, and thanks to that wonderful 'best score' feature on the fuel economy display, I've even gotten my wife to do some hypermiling tricks. Best has been 65mpg over 50 miles average, with 52.3 mpg over 500 miles. Pretty pleased.
I do want to get a suspension upgrade for it, and an exhaust, but the dashcam will be the next big spend on it.
Thanks for your engagement on here! I need to join the Cruze forum, I've used it a few times.

I hate it. The DR750s will not connect to my Google Pixel XL and support has not relpyed to my issues. I can intermittently get it to connect to my old galaxy 4 but it is very slow and drops out making the app worthless. The cloud only shows about half my files and I can't steam from the cloud, it keeps buffering. DON'T BUY THIS IF ITS EVER OFFERED AGAIN.
