I couldnt get past the super small sendy soundstage. So i bet this has the same limitation. Like its an open back planar. It should have a huge soundstage but the Sendy sure didnt. Is the Blon different?
ShroudIf what you want stage more room between the driver and your ears is better, and the cup of the blon b20 and the sendy is smaller than a sennheiser hd650. I would recommend ThieAudio phantom instead, you can find them in the linsoul store... i think they finally have some in stock since they sold really well at the start.
Rene-FYeah the Sendy soundstage was not wide at all and vocals and instruments sounded tiny. On the sendy the grills really killed the width and it might not be as bad on the blon Thanks for the recommendation. Will chexk them out
zep483Nope, it's a different driver. The m1060 doesn't hold a candle to the Phantoms, even when modded. Phantoms also have seen modding, but not as drastic, people have only noticed an improvement by removing the foams that are behind the grilles on the oustide of the headphone.
Rene-FAhh, thanks... maybe there will be a set at RMAF, the AIVAS were not my favorite, so doubt I'll look at these, but I'm interested in the Phantom if it is indeed what is being promoted.
ZeosM1070 and M1570 look like they have addressed the build on monoliths, the blon looks to be well put together too. I also think they are revising the Phantom from the feedback given.
ZeosThanks z for chiming in! I have the m1060v2 and M1060c both modded and am looking for an upgrade. The sendy left me wanting in the width department. Would the Blon beat the m1060 without grills in width??
