Question: what's the point of getting this knife here on Drop, and had to wait a month to get it for the same price I can get it anywhere else right now and have it shipped to me inmediately?

None that I know of - someone else might have an opinion. It comes down to 3 things when you order on this site: 1) do you mind (or can) wait for shipping, 2) warranties and returns, and 3) price. Personally, there is nothing for sale on Drop that I can't wait for, that being said, sometimes the price isn't that great but you have to do your research.

Violin86Because, what you forget is that Drop is not about just American buyers. Drop has many customers in various parts of the world (like me in Canada), and since Drop has unbeatable shipping costs, it makes these purchases compelling and competitive for many buyers outside the USA. Amazon.com and eBay sellers as well as online knives retailers, often charge an arm and a leg for shipping to other places besides the USA. A recent example is that I was looking for a $54.99 slipjoint on some of these very well known knife retailers, and shipping to Canada was $18 USD and up. So I can tell you with certitude, even if a knife was $15 or even $20 more on Drop compared to say, KnivesShipFree (they don't ship free to the rest of the world by the way, just the US), it would still be way better for me to buy it on Drop. And seeing that usually Drop's price is the same or a few bucks more than other places, then the knives sold on Drop are an awesome deal for me, and I suspect for many other buyers around the world. So, you just gotta stop thinking about items sold here on Drop as being aimed at just American buyers; this is the online way, the goal for Drop is to sell everywhere.

“Weighing just 4.6 ounces, this knife is neither heavy nor wide” Too heavy for its size for an edc, IMO.

Omegaman68 I just watched a review on the centros and it actually weighs in at 4 ounces on a scale rather than drops incorrect specs. Initially I was turned off by these being a Civivi fan boy LOL but Still waiting on my crag to determine if I would like a Centros or not. it does seem to be the best option of the five models that are out imo. Hard to argue or have too high of expectations for the low price point and should make a good beater potentially.

And just like the Artisan drops, cheaper to buy elsewhere (where it will ship immediately)

Well this I guess is Artisan's answer to Civivi, the problem that I have is that Artisan's D2 line is kind of hit and miss, We's D2s were pretty solid . So Im interested to see the reviews when they start coming in. I also have to admit I'm a little let down by this lines mark I enjoyed the swastika/NY Giants arguing with Artisan this one just looks like a low budget Marfione mark.

The price is nothing to get excited about (and actually, it fuels the ongoing disappointment I feel about Drop's disappearing deals). That being said, it's a nice knife for the price and it has a hidden lanyard hole! How cool is that?

Your pricing is insulting.

Carbon Fiber version is very tempting at this price point, especially for a Canadian buyer (many online US retailers don't ship to Canada, or if they do so, it's with a gouging cost; we don't have many Canadian online retailers with large choices either).

Bought a second one, and the lock is so stiff it's impossible to open with one hand. which is weird because the first one I bought was so smooth.

GEN7252Artisan cutlery is notorious for lock stick; perhaps there is some influence. It stops me looking at this brand. This particular knife is also heavy for it's size.

Definitely will say should of got g10. Carbon fiber reminds me of something on ganzo knife NG blade is very nice and sharp grinds are good. Overall action is good ahould of had a flipper on it sebenza is the only true thumb stud knife i really enjoy these day's. But the carbon fiber or should i say sticker shouldn't of been an option!!!
