I would like to start with obviously etymotic is a well-known company that im sure produces very high quality gear. However, I would refrain from buying these for $18 because I own a pair from a different company that works similarly but cuts up to 26dB and costs less. I can’t remember the exact brand mine are, I will update it later, but there are honestly a lot of brands that can do this better than these for less money.
Edit: The pair I own are made by AGPTEK, I bought the red filters (-26dB)
Woo hoo. Finally shipping. What a complete waste of fucking time. I could've had these a month ago if I just ordered through Amazon. Pretty sure it was less than $1 more.
Delayed? Again? On a regular, production item? This is getting out of hand - it seems to be about a 50% chance of delays lately. When we are already waiting a significant amount of time for a drop to close, that's unacceptable. Get your SCM in fucking order.
SheepDog67Correct. These will not have enough reduction for the shooting range. These are meant for situations where maintaining audio clarity is important, like at concerts or shows.
Earplugs like these seem like a great idea. There are many brands and models to choose from. Can anyone help sort out the differences, if any? Any of them more effective at attenuation while maintaining frequency range? Any fit better than others? Any more comfortable? More durable? ?? Thanks.
tvr2500mThese have a flatter response than most. The main difference between models and manufacturers are amount of reduction and response curve. These have one of the better curves on the high end dip earplugs typically give.
At first I was thinking, is it worth it to wait a month to save only $2 (10%) when I can get them from Amazon in two days? Then I read that everyone is receiving the previous model which are only $8 and it made my decision for me.
