For those who have used the Elite Hybrid on the Elex, how do you like them? I assume they'll result in a marginal bass boost over stock, which is my objective, but I wanna make sure it doesn't make the treble annoyingly bright at the same time.

SassMasterSeamusI assume you're talking about the Dekoni Elite Hybrid pads with velour, fenestrated sheepskin on the inside, regular sheepskin outside. I have an Elear (same drivers, supspension, etc as Elex, just different colorway/stock pads) as well as the Elear, Elex, and Dekoni Elite Hybrid pads. Elear pads are weird: super laid-back upper mids, too much bass, etc. Elite pads are better, but not by much. My recommendation: use either eq or warm source pairing to bump up bass/smooth treble on Elex with stock pads, save up for a Focal Clear
