That is incredibly considerate of you @KAPS1M0, but feel free to use the Request button.
While the buying team does utilize this to gauge member interest in re-launching drops, it's first and foremost a tool for members to be notified when a product becomes available - and if you don't like the price, then you're certainly not obligated to participate.

Is this the NAPPA leather on offer. They now have a new FxCel leather which l'm not too fond of.

msresinheadYes, this is napa. The FxCel is a little higher end and more costly, but many do prefer the feel and look of the napa.

I got my case yesterday and it's lovely! Very high-quality build. I am very glad that I got the maroon one as the color is subtler than expected and very attractive. The one thing that I am cautious about is the material where the pens are held as it is rougher than I expected, but so far it hasn't really scratched anything and I don't expect it to.

got mine from last drop. build is 2nd to none. caveat though, this case fits the larger pens better. the longer pen length like Franklin's own 02 Intrinsic makes it easy to take the pen out. shorter pens require some grippy finger acrobatics to remove.

If anyone can comment, I'd be curious to know the difference between this drop's nappa leather and the FxCel leather on F-C's website.

FatestormFxCel leather is vegetable and oil tanned. It has a very smooth surface. Napa has a textured surface and is chrome tanned. The interiors are identical with ribbed cotton slots that go all the way down.

Um guys ... while it says at checkout I can choose black or MAROON leather, you only show brown, and the choices appear to be black or brown. So IS a choice maroon and if so you need to change options and SHOW the maroon before I'll be interested, and I AM interested ...

Two points/questions: when you click on the pictures and hover mouse over the Not Black choice, it both appears AND IS CLEARLY LABELED "BROWN" so I have to question your reply. Can you double-check which is wrong the label or the picture? And curious: is the saddleboot leather your new line REPLACING the Nappa that you USED to sell?

The photo caption should now correctly read Maroon. The Nappa leather is an exclusive edition for Massdrop only, and is not replacing Franklin-Christoph's original Saddleboot leather line. Hope this helps!
